Organized in 1937 as the Hillside
Heights Fire Company, Engine Company Three is comprised of almost 30 active
Firefighters manning a 1991 Class "A" Simon- Duplex fire engine
capable of pumping 1500 gallons of water every minute and transporting 8 crew members,
a chauffeur and officer. Bearing
designation 153, the truck is foam capable and is stocked with a variety of
firefighting equipment including 5-inch hose.
